The tale of Desperaux

Question e-what did you find surprising about the book.

There were a lot of things that were surprising about the book. A couple of them were that the main character that was played by a mouse had the perseverance to stay on his long quest to save the princess. Another thing I found surprising about my book would be that nobody cared about poor little servant girl all her life. Throughout the entire story the author would give you a side story that would eventually become a key pert of the story. Those were just some of the surprising things about my book which are mig and desperaux.

In the beginning of the story Desperaux has broken the first three mouse rules and is sent to the dungeon. This is going to be part of his quest to get to the princess in time to save her. He most likely won’t make it out but Gregory the jailer bundles him up in his tissue and sends him back upstairs. Now on to Mig the poor servant girl .Her terrible life started with her mom dying and her dad selling her for some cigarettes. She was sold to her fake uncle who in return made her do all his work and gave her good clout to the ear every now and then. So you can imagine that migs hearing wasn’t all that great and her ears looked like cauliflower. Soon she gets saved by one of the king’s men because it’s actually illegal to own another person in the kingdom of dor.

There were a lot of surprising thing that were mig and desperaux. The story had a happy or sad ending
(depending on the character). Mig stays at the castle receiving no or little clouts to the ear, despreaux finds the princess and saves her, and the rats in the dungeon that were in desperauxs way turned nice and helped him find his true love the princess. The story in the end had some pretty surprising things about the main characters and their incounters with the king. I personally think that the most surprising was the unexpected(when desperaux led his way into the dungeon and saved the princmouse.jpgess).
